At last, President Liu Hong made a summary of the work and problems of the Chinese French Institute in two aspects: "innovation" and "internationalization". She pointed out that the school of French Studies has a deep historical accumulation and heritage, and it is necessary to further enhance its understanding and political position, and correctly understand the importance of the French major in the development of the school. We must give full play to our own advantages, inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the college. The teachers and students of the French Institute should broaden their horizons, accelerate their development, and strive to achieve better results in the French majors of similar colleges and universities across the country. She requested that the French Institute should further establish problem awareness and goal orientation, compare, sort out and find problems, further innovate the talent training model, and dare to innovate and act in terms of first-class professional construction, discipline development, scientific research innovation, and teacher echelon construction.
