Zhou Qianqian of Italian Studies won the Best Speaker Award of ITALIA CIAO hosted by the Culture Section of Italian Embassy in Beijing at the First National Italian Language Bridge Contest on the afternoon of 26th October. Participants were graduates or undergraduates from 15 universities such as Beijing Foreign Studies University, University of International Business and Economics, Beijing Language and Culture University, Xi’an International Studies University, Sichuan International Studies University, Tianjin Foreign Studies University and so on.

The contest is an important event of the Italian Culture Week in China and of the highest level of its kind as well. The students’ impressive performance not only won the compliments from the panel of judicators, but also was encouraging to the students of Italian Studies in our university.
