The Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Liaoning Province announced the results of the eighth selection of the “Provincial Talent Project” in this province in the recent days. According to “The Notice for Selecting Talents for the “Provincial Talent Project” in Liaoning Province in 2014” (No. 107[2014]), the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Liaoning Province and five other departments decided to select 769 more professional and technical personnel for the “Provincial Talent Project” through the procedures of personal application, organization’s recommendation, professional appraisal and public review. Among all the 769 talents, 80 would be on the “Hundred List”, 159 on the “Thousand List”, and 530 on the “Ten-Thousand List”. Liu Zhaoxia from the School of Software Engineering and Zou Deyan from the School of English Studies of DUFL are both put on the “Thousand List” in this selection. There are so far 7 teachers from DUFL on the “Hundred List” and 12 on the “Thousand List” of the “Provincial Talent Project”. (Reported by Wang Xia)
