The Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Victory of the Anti-Fascism War was held at the student center of DUFL on May 10th. Consul-General of Russia in Shenyang, Mr. Bedford, President Sun Yuhua of DUFL and other leaders of the university attended the event.

Mr. Bedford made a speech on the significance of this event. He believed that the Sino-Russia relationship has entered a new phase and is heading toward a better future. Under the sound Sino-Russia relations, students of Russian major in DUFL will surely have a promising future.

President Sun Yuhua expressed her appreciation for the presence of the guests in her speech. She also noted that Lushun has witnessed the past 70 years, and students of DUFL would visit the sites of historical interest in Lushun to pay tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the war.

The success of this event has demonstrated once again the global vision of DUFL through the display of its capability of management, operation and international cooperation.
