On July 17th, Academic Symposium on “Construction of One Belt and One Road and Cooperation in between China, Japan and South Korea” was jointly sponsored by DUFL and Academy of Social Sciences of Liaoning Province. 60 members present were from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, think tanks, research institutions and 16 departments of Northeastern provinces of China. Secretary of CPC Committee of DUFL, Mr. Liu Ximing and president of the university attended the opening ceremony of the event hosted by Vice-president Liu Hong.

Counselor of the Department of Asian Affairs, Zheng Xuefang, deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Liaoning Province, Feng Chuntai and President of DUFL, Sun Yuhua has delivered the opening speech respectively. The keynote speech session was hosted by Vice-Director of Academy of Social Sciences of Liaoning.

The symposium came to an end in the evening. It has fully demonstrated the achievements DUFL has gained after the founding of North Eastern Asia Research and Study Center and Cooperative Research Center of China, Japan and Korea.
