Wang Weichen Meeting with Dr. Jimmy Hill
Vice-president Dr. Jimmy Hill of National College of Ireland and his delegation visited DUFL on April 7th. Vice-president Wang Weichen met the delegation and they exchanged views on previous programs of teachers and students and the possibilities of research cooperation.
The two universities have enjoyed regular exchanges since 2012 in majors such as English, HR Management, and Computer Science. Vice President Wang expressed his wish to his counterpart tocontinue to support this International Education Exchange Week in the years to come, for he believed this event would provide opportunities for students to gather information on overseas studies. Wang also introduced the newly updated curriculum for majors like Computer Science and HR Management, hoping to further cooperationin programs such as teacher and student exchanges.
Dr. Hill also introduced the Computing School and Business School of his college. He said these two schools arestrong in four areas: cloud computing, data analysis, financial technology and cyber security. He hoped that his collegeResearch centers could upgrade the student programs and to optimize the discipline construction of both universities. In addition, he promised thatNational College of Ireland would take an active part in DUFL International Education Exchange Week. Dr. Hill agreed that both schools need to further their cooperation in the future.
