On the morning of 25th May, the unveiling ceremony of jointly building CATTI promotion base by The Examination Committee & The Accreditation Center of China International Publishing Group and Dalian University of Foreign Languages was held inDUFL.Huang Youyi,Director of China National Committee of MTI and PresidentLiu Hong attended the ceremony.

An agreement onthejoint establishment of a CATTI promotion base was signed by Yang Jianping, vice director of the board of examination and Li Chunji, Dean of SATI. Huang Youyiand Liu Hong together inaugurated the promotion base.Yang Jianping offered CATTI textbooks tothe university and President Liu thanked the Group for their trust and support. In her speech,Liu hoped thattheteachers and students of translating/interpreting majorsshouldcommit themselves to translating/interpreting research and learning for which they have strong passion. She also hoped that DUFL could extend its full potential and fulfill its responsibilities and obligations.

As a CATTI promotion base, Dalian University of Foreign Languagesdidnot only undertake the great expectations given by the Examination Committee & the Accreditation Center of China International Publishing Group, but also shoulders the responsibility of further promoting the development of CATTI.
