The 6th Liaoning Undergraduate Drama Festival concluded at Shenyang Normal University on October 27. Of the 76 plays in total, 4 recommended by DUFL were qualified for the final. They were “Cats,” a musical, from the School of Advanced Translation and Interpretation (SATI), “The Importance of Being Earnest” from the School of English Studies (SES), “Pride and Prejudice” from the School of International Business (SIB) and “Mr. Donkey” from DUFL’s Time Drama Club.

The judges gave theExcellent Play Award to “The Importance of Being Earnest” fromSES. Yin Jiayue from SATI and three students from SES---Wang Luofei, Ni Ziyi and Sun Jinghan---won the Best Director Award. Wang Yueyao from SES won the title of the Best Actress. The Excellent Player Award went to Wang Xiangyi from SATI, Xu Ziwen from SIB andYao Lu, Meng Di and Cao Shengyuan from the Time Drama Club.Instructor Sun Yilin from the Youth League Committee won the Excellent Coach Award. For the good organization, DUFL was given the Excellent Organizer Award.
