President Liu Hong attended theopening ceremony of the Soft Power Research Institute of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and participated in the “Belt and Road” Soft Power Research Forum. Over 50 experts and scholars from a dozen universities and institutes came for the ceremony.

Researcher Hu Jian, Director of the Soft Power Research Institute introduced the significance and conception of establishing the Soft Power Research Institute. PresidentLiu Hong and He Jianhua, Deputy Dean of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences jointly unveiled the plaque for the Soft Power Research Institute.
