Vice President Chang Junyue met with Joaquin Soller Arias, Senior Director of SDL’s Global Supply Chain

Vice President Chang Junyue andJoaquin Soller Arias,Senior Director of SDL’s Global Supply Chain and his team held talks in Room 611, meeting room in Chengzhi Building in Dalian University of Foreign Languages (DUFL) on December 4th. The heads of Graduate School, School-Enterprise Alliance Office, The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center, School of Japanese Studies, School of English Studies, Department of Korean Studies, and School of Advanced Translation and Interpretation attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Vice President Chang Junyue first extended a warm welcome to the Senior DirectorJoaquin Soller Arias and introduced the history, discipline development, specialty construction, faculties and education internationalization of theuniversity. Vice President Chang Junyue expressed the hope that the visit of Senior Director Arias and his delegation will help the two sides to continuouslycooperate and co-shareschool-enterprise resources.

Subsequently, Director Joaquin Soller Arias expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Vice President Chang Junyue for his hospitality, and introduced the business scope, team strength, demands of marketization for translators, company’s development goals and future cooperation with universities.

Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on future cooperation and reached many consensuses in the fields of order-based joint talent training mode, teacher training, language service, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and international exchange platform based on school-enterprise cooperation.

The visit of Joaquin Soller Arias, Senior Director of SDL’s Global Supply Chain, will provide more space for the university and the enterprise to further develop multi-level, multi-form and multi-field cooperation, and to offer new opportunities for combining and optimizing resources between school and enterprise and cultivating the professional talents needed for social and economic development through joint efforts of school and enterprise.
