Educators from incheon, South Korea visited our school
On the morning of July 21, a delegation of 10 Korean educators fromIncheon sponsored by the Confucius institute of incheon university of South Korea visited our university. Vice President jiang fengchun and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.
President jiang fengchun first extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He made a detailed introduction to the delegation on the characteristics of our school's internationalization, the development of Chinese language teaching and the construction of Confucius institutes overseas. He pointed out that the Confucius institute established by our university and incheon university has been making steady progress since its establishment and has become a bridge of educational cooperation and exchange between China and South Korea. Through the platform of Confucius institute, our school has reached a number of cooperation with educational institutions in incheon, South Korea. Jiang hopes that this visit will further deepen the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides and better build a bridge of mutual benefit and mutual trust for the two peoples.
Li xiangjun, director of the Confucius institute at incheon university, delivered a speech on behalf of the delegation. He said it is a great honor to visit China through the Confucius institute and thankedDalianUniversity of ForeignLanguages for its warm hospitality. He said the Confucius institute at incheon university will continue to move to new levels under the joint leadership of the two universities.
Ms. Li meirong, head of the education department of incheon city, said that the Confucius institute of incheon university has carried out various cultural exchange activities and Chinese language experience activities in the local people, which have been widely praised by the local people. Meanwhile, the education department of incheon will continue to support and encourage the development of Confucius institutes.
