On September 26th, the Dalian Foreign Studies University and the Central Compilation Bureau Central Literature Talent Training Academic Forum lasted for three days were successfully held in our school. 16 experts from the Sixth Research Department of the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute of the Central Central Compilation Bureau and the heads of the eight departments of the Japanese, English, Russian, and Advanced Translation, French, Sui, West, and A, as well as multilingual research centers. Nearly 40 researchers participated in the forum, and Vice President Chang Junyue attended the meeting. The seminar focused on the academic exchange of the joint training of central literature translators.

During this period, Xie Haijing, deputy director of the Japanese Translation Department of the Sixth Research Department of the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute, Zhang Linna, deputy director of the Russian Translation Department, and Yang Wangping, the first-level translator of the English Translation Department, respectively wrote a lecture entitled "Schools and Students of Our School". On the 28th, Peng Wenzhao, Director of the Graduate School of the University, and Yang Xuedong, Deputy Director of the Sixth Research Department of the Central Party History and Literature Research Institute, and Qing Xuemin, Director of the German Translation Department, introduced the results and experiences of the cooperation projects of the past five years. The next five-year goal was put forward at the meeting: first, to upgrade the level of training, to establish a doctoral training program; second, to expand the scope of training, and to create a teacher training program; third, deepen the cultivation of connotation, and develop textbook development and think tank cooperation. Subsequently, representatives of both languages made constructive comments and suggestions on the joint training project.

In the afternoon, under the auspices of Huo Yuehong, director of the Multilingual Research Center of our school, the two sides discussed the issue of the discipline of political literature translation. Five representatives from various languages of our school made speeches. I hope that in the future, we will integrate resources from both sides to build a political literature translation discipline, clarify the Chinese story, and improve China's soft power.

After the meeting, Chang Junyue, vice president of our school, stressed that the joint training program provides students with high-level translation practice opportunities, which has a profound impact on students' future employment.
