Foreign experts from our school participated in a foreign expert reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
On September 27th, a foreign expert reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held in the Great Hall of the People. Han Zheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, attended and delivered a speech. Liu He, Yang Jiechi, Chen Xi, Zhang Chunxian, Xiao Jie, Wan Gang attended the reception.
At the reception, there were experts workinglong-timein China, representatives of foreign experts working in China andtheirspouses, and relevant departments of the central and state. Our school's Russian expert Alexander Bochkalev and Italian expert Paul Rentina were invited by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology to participate in the reception with the Liaoning Provincial delegation.
The two experts expressed their blessings for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and their enthusiasm for participating in the event with the Chinese national leaders in the Great Hall of the People. This trip to Beijingwasunforgettable for them. Thank the country forits compliment and the Liaoning Science and Technology Department and our school for their support and help. The two experts said that they will contribute to the international development of our school with more enthusiasm.
In recent years, our school has always attached great importance to the work of foreign experts to attract intelligence, and has beenpraised by the provincial and municipal science and technology bureaus and other higher authorities. Since 2015, three experts have won the “Liaoning Provincial Foreign Expert Honor Award”, two experts won the “Dalian Xinghai Friendship Award”, and one expert was approved to have wualifications for the second high-end talent visa in Liaoning Province.
In April 2019, the Kazakh experts of our school were invited to participate in the award ceremony of the "Friendship Medal" held by President Xi Jinping at the Central Hall of the Great Hall of the People for the first President of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev. In the future, our school will continue to actively expand international resources, absorb high-level professionals, establish a high-level, long-term and stable team of foreign experts, and promote the internationalization of teachers, the internationalization of courses and the internationalization of academic research.
