The opening ceremony of the pre-job online training for international Chinese education volunteers to Thailand and other countries held in our school in 2022
On May 5th, the opening ceremony of the pre-job training for international Chinese education volunteers to Thailand and other countries in 2022 was held online. Jiang Fengchun, Vice President of our school, and Zhou Hui, director of the Volunteer Work Office of the Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 380 international Chinese education volunteers from 105 schools and institutions such as Renmin University of china, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Sichuan University, Shandong University attended the opening ceremony.
Chen Zijiao, Dean of the School of Han, delivered a speech on behalf of all the teachers. She said that the lecturers will carefully prepare, carefully design, and strive to make their online courses the same as on-site classroom teaching, with content, atmosphere, warmheartedness and effect. She hopes that in the training, the trainees can harvest rich teaching theoretical knowledge and cultural knowledge, improve their teaching ability, foreign language ability and cultural dissemination ability, prepare for their future appointments, do a good job in knowledge, skills and psychology, and become a qualified international Chinese education volunteer and a people-to-people diplomatic ambassador.
Xiong Xiaomei from Renmin University of china spoke on behalf of all the students. Director Zhou Hui first welcomed all the trainees to devote themselves to the cause of international Chinese education and join the family of international Chinese education volunteers.
In his speech, Vice President Jiang Fengchun thanked the Ministry of Education for its trust in the Sino-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center, and extended a warm welcome to all international Chinese education volunteers. He pointed out that since 2007, the school has actively docked with the needs of the national Chinese culture "going out" and the "Belt and Road" initiative, and has established 10 Confucius Institutes, becoming the largest number of Confucius Institutes established overseas by provincial colleges in China. In April 2021, our school was approved to set up the country's first international Chinese education practice and research base, which has taken a more solid step towards improving the process of international Chinese education, Chinese and foreign language exchanges, humanities construction, innovative talent training, high-end teacher training, international textbook research and development, and two-way cultural experience.
In March 2022, the first online Chinese classroom of our school, the Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil. on line Chinese learning, was officially launched, becoming an innovative symbol of "suspension of classes but non-stop learning" in response to the new crown epidemic and the use of the Internet to ensure that international Chinese education is "suspended without stopping". He said that our school will do its best to ensure the smooth progress of the online training and hopes that the trainees will improve the professional level of international Chinese education and cross-cultural communication ability through training, and complete the sacred mission entrusted by the country and the nation with deep "feelings", full of "enthusiasm" and "passion".
