The 14th National Russian Language Competition for Colleges and Universities held in our school


On the morning of April 23rd, the 14th National Russian Language Competition for Colleges and Universities, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, co-organized by the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, and hosted by Dalian University of Foreign Languages, opened online. Members of the Russian subcommittee of the guiding committee for the teaching of foreign fanguges and literature in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, the organizing committee of the competition, the Jury, the Supervisory Committee and the representative teams of various universities gathered in the clouds to participate in this grand event of national Russian language competition.









It is reported that the National Russian Language Competition is the highest level of national competition in the Russian language profession, which is the fourth time that Dawai has hosted it, and it is also the first time in the history of the competition that the whole process has been held online, which is another useful exploration of information teaching in the cultivation of Russian language talents. A total of 390 students from 150 colleges and universities across the country participated in this competition, and a total of 60 students were shortlisted after the preliminary competition in the preliminary competition, and the contestants will compete for the awards for the Junior group, the senior group and the graduate student group in the two-day rematch and final.


On the afternoon of April 24th, the competition ended in the clouds. After two days of fierce competition, Lu Boyu from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, Zhu Yunfeng from Beijing Normal University, and Dong Ximeng from Heilongjiang University won the first prize in the junior group, senior group and graduate student group of this competition. Li Lianghui and Wang Song, contestants from our school, won the second prize in the senior group of this competition, and Ren Weixuan won the second prize in the graduate group. The 60 winners of the competition will go to Russia for further study under the sponsorship of the National Scholarship Council.


At the closing ceremony, Professor Wang Jiaxing, Chairman of the Judging Committee of the Competition, and Professor Chen Songyan, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, respectively made concluding remarks on the work of the judges and the Supervision Committee of the Competition. Professor Wang Jiaxing brought a unique "Russian open class" to the teachers and students in the cloud, and he made a detailed comment on the performance of the participants in each group from the aspects of speech selection, answering skills, and expression methods. Professor Wang said that the National Russian Language Competition for Colleges and Universities provides a good platform for Russian language students in various universities, so that the contestants can show themselves more completely. At the same time, he expressed his recognition and gratitude for the preparatory organization of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, which hosted the competition for the fourth time.


It is reported that the National Russian Language Competition in Colleges and Universities has been successfully held for thirteen sessions so far, and the competition closely focuses on the basic language and national conditions knowledge, and is also closely related to the relations between China and Russian-speaking countries and events, focusing on cultivating students' feelings of home and country and international vision. Over the years, the competition has selected more than 600 outstanding Russian talents to study in Russia through the National Scholarship Council by cultivating students to establish lofty ideals and strive to become the new people of the era of national rejuvenation, which not only builds a good platform for learning and interaction for the contestants and leading teachers, but also more effectively promotes the reform of Russian professional teaching and the overall improvement of the quality of talent training in the country.
