Our school and Hokuriku University held an exchange meeting on the offline restart of international education
On June 2nd, our school and Hokuriku University in Japan "New Era, New Starting Point, New Hope - International Education Offline Restart Exchange Meeting" was held online, marking the official launching of our school's "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Normalization of China-Japan Diplomatic Relations Series event ". Kokura,the chairman and president of Hokuriku University, Zhou Hang,the supervisor of Hokuriku University,the director Dasang Kazl the president of our school Liu Hong, and the vice president Jiang Fengchun attended the exchange meeting. Heads of relating departments of Hokuriku University and our school, as well as 30 students from our school who went to Japan to study in May this year, participated in the exchange activities.
President Liu Hong first expressed her gratitude to Hokuriku University for providing timely online teaching and personalized guidance to our students during the epidemic, especially for providing students with a flexible and convenient admission policy. President Liu Hong pointed out that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, as well as the 20th anniversary of the joint training program for students of the two schools. "New era, new starting point, new hope" is in line with the smooth travel of our school's students to Japan and the offline cooperation between the two schools.
As a witness of the cooperation between the two universities, I have witnessed the solid road that the two sides have traveled together. Standing at a new historical starting point, I hope that the two universities will cooperate closely and continue to innovate, and jointly look forward to the second fifty years of more development prospects for bilateral relations. The second 20 years of more extensive and in-depth cooperation with the two universities. At the same time, it is also hoped that the students participating in the project will have dreams, be down-to-earth, strengthen communication, and promote exchanges, so as to become builders of a community with a shared future for the country and mankind, and inheritors of friendship between China and Japan from generation to generation.
Kokura, Chairman and President of Hokuriku University, said that the sudden outbreak of the epidemic has brought crises and challenges to higher education and international exchanges in various countries. The integrated online international course has been welcomed and praised by students. In the past two decades, Hokuriku University and Dalian University of Foreign Languages have cooperated closely and jointly contributed to the promotion of educational cooperation between China and Japan. In the future, it is hoped that the two universities will continue to work hard to promote Sino-Japanese educational cooperation and international talent training and play a more active role.
In order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, give full play to the school's advantages in international exchanges and cooperation, and enhance the understanding and mutual trust between Chinese and Japanese youth, the school will hold a series of commemorative activities including academic forums, expert lectures, and cultural exchanges.
