The second batch of doctoral dissertation defense of the "Northeast Asia Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs High-end Talents" doctoral training program of our university in 2022 was successfully completed
On July 24th, the doctoral training program of "Northeast Asia Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs High-end Talents" of our university held a doctoral dissertation defense meeting through the Tencent conference platform, and doctoral students Lu Lin and Zhang Tingting successfully completed the doctoral dissertation defense.
The chairman of the defense committee is Professor Wu Guanghui, the doctoral supervisor of Xiamen University, the defense committee is Professor Shi Hui, the doctoral supervisor of Soochow University, and the doctoral supervisor of our university, Professor Liu Hong, Professor Chang Junyue and Professor Peng Wenzhao. At the defense meeting, doctoral students Lu Lin and Zhang Tingting respectively elaborated on the main points of the paper <Japan Economic News >"Research on the Approaching Strategy of Political Texts on the Theme of the Belt and Road" and "Research on the Discourse Strategy of Japanese Political Apology from the Perspective of Field Negotiation Theory".
The respondents asked questions and hints on the title of the paper, basic concepts, theoretical framework, research content, basic arguments, research extension, especially the main research issues of the article, the definition of key concepts, the literature cited, and the format of the paper. After discussion by the defense committee and a secret ballot, it was unanimously stated that Lu Lin and Zhang Tingting's doctoral dissertations had reached the level of obtaining doctoral dissertations, successfully passed the thesis defense, agreed to award them doctorate degrees in humanities, and selected Zhang Tingting's thesis "Research on the Discourse Strategy of Japanese Political Apology under the Perspective of Field Negotiation Theory" as an outstanding doctoral dissertation at the university level.
Up to now, a total of 18 doctoral students (including international students) have successfully passed the doctoral thesis defense, covering Russian, Japanese and English. Relying on the China Northeast Asian Language Research Center of the State Language Commission, the Graduate School and the Northeast Asia Research Center of our university will further continue to fully implement the spirit of the National Postgraduate Education Conference, continuously improve the quality and training ability of doctoral students in our university, and cultivate "multilingual +" international, innovative, compound and applied high-end foreign language talents.
