Our school held the closing ceremony of the fourth session of the international Chinese education volunteer pre-job online training in 2022
On July 23rd, the closing ceremony of the fourth session of the 2022 International Chinese Education Volunteer Pre-job Online Training was held in the cloud. Chang Junyue, Vice President of our school, and Zhou Zhichang, deputy director of the Volunteer Work Office of the Center for Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the Language Cooperation Center), attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. The heads of relevant functional departments, relevant departments and all students attended the closing ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the graduation video full of memories led the trainees to review the entire training process, and the familiar pictures made the trainees deeply touched. The trainees gave high praise to the training in the short film, and said that the curriculum arrangement of the training in the modules of Chinese theory, teaching mode, cultural communication and comprehensive ability has greatly improved their professional ability, and the collaborative division of labor between the class teacher and the class assistant has also allowed them to solve the problems encountered in the training in a timely manner. Subsequently, all the participants took a group photo and sang the national anthem together, and Zhou Zhichang, deputy director of the Volunteer Work Office of the Language Convergence Center, read out the list of completed students and issued a certificate of completion.
Yu Xiaosong from Shanghai Overseas Chinese University and Zeng Yuxi from Southeast University spoke as representatives of the students. First of all, they expressed their gratitude to the Chinese and foreign language exchange and cooperation center of the Ministry of Education, Dalian University of Foreign Languages and the platform of the Chinese Alliance, and said that thanks to the meticulous organization of Dawai, the online training achieved good teaching results, and the trainees gained progress in professional knowledge and teaching skills. In addition, the two trainees look forward to their future work and life abroad, and they will always uphold their ideals and beliefs, carry forward Chinese culture, and enhance understanding and exchanges among peoples of all countries.
Deputy Director Zhou Zhichang delivered a speech, and on behalf of the Language And Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, she expressed her gratitude to Dawai and all expert teachers for their attention and support for this training. At the same time, she suggested that the trainees should keep in touch with the project teachers and training management teachers of the Language And Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education in the future, actively share their teaching experience and feelings, and hope that all volunteers can pay attention to safety when teaching abroad, make continuous progress, vigorously promote the spirit of volunteerism, and show the image of Outstanding Volunteers in China with responsibility.
In his speech, Vice President Chang Junyue congratulated to the students who successfully completed the course, and expressed his sincere thanks to the strong support of the Sino-foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education and the meticulous preparation of the staff. He pointed out that in the process of international Chinese education and the development of Confucius Institutes, our school has actively held various exchange activities, which have played a positive and far-reaching impact on the exchange and mutual learning of Chinese and foreign civilizations. As international Chinese education volunteers, the trainees shoulder the mission of telling Chinese stories and practicing mutual learning among civilizations, hoping that the trainees can not forget their original intentions, strive to be a bridge for human civilization communication, show the world excellent Chinese culture, and promote the integration of world civilizations.
At the end of the ceremony, all the students sang "Hanyu Flowers Blooming" in unison, expressing their love for the cause of international Chinese education with songs, and interpreting the volunteer spirit of international Chinese education volunteers with actions.
The training lasted for 34 days, with 392 participants from 105 colleges and universities including Peking University, Fudan University, Renmin University of China, and Nankai University. At the end of the training, volunteers will travel to 49 countries including Australia, Kenya, Uganda, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Japan, Portugal, Brazil, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Italy, Egypt, Morocco and Thailand.
