Our school held the academic seminar on Russian teaching and research from the perspective of digital humanities and the press conference of "China-Russia Cloud" platform
On October 15th, the "Russian Teaching and Research Academic Seminar and the press Conference of" China-Russia Cloud "Platform was successfully held online, which was co-sponsored by China Northeast Asian Language Research Center and Russian Language Institute of the National Language Commission of Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Liu Hong, director of the Russian Language Sub-Committee of the Foreign Reference Committee of the Ministry of Education, President of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, and Zhang Bing, secretary general of the Russian Teaching Research Association of China, Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Society, Director of the Foreign Language Department of Peking University Press attended the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 400 people, including experts and scholars from more than 20 domestic universities and scientific research institutions, teachers and students from the Russian Language Institute of our university, attended the seminar and the press conference. The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Tian Xiukun, president of the College of Russian Language.
President Liu Hong pointed out in her opening speech that the Russian Sub-committee of the Ministry of Education has always attached great importance to and actively explored the "research" and "teaching" of Russian teachers under the background of the information age, and concerned about how the majority of Russian students learn Russian better through various digital resources. Relying on the "Virtual Teaching and Research Office of Russian Major" and "Understanding Contemporary Chinese Russian Series Virtual Teaching and Research Office" set up by the Ministry of Education, the Russian Major of Dalian University of Foreign Languages regularly holds teaching and research activities to break regional and university barriers and build a collaborative teaching and research mechanism for Russian professional talents training.
The Russian subject and the English, Japanese and other multilingual subjects will carry out interdisciplinary construction. In the exploration of new liberal arts, we should further update the educational and teaching concepts, carry out the integration research of corpus linguistics and foreign language and literature with the thought of digital humanities, strengthen the creation and application of corpus, and find that data can bring us new achievements in language, literature, translation and cultural studies.
The Chinese Russian Language Teaching and Research Intelligent Cloud Platform (hereinafter referred to as "Sino-Russian Cloud") is a comprehensive platform built on the principle of combined wisdom, co-construction and sharing under the background of the national education digital transformation strategy and the construction of "new liberal arts". It mainly includes Sino-Russian language resource database and intelligent management service platform, "research", "teaching" and "learning" three major resource database and intelligent management service platform, Russian talent information database and social management platform, language intelligent system database and application service platform.
The conference is held just before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is another effort made by the Center for Northeast Asian Language Studies of the National Language Commission of Dalian University of Foreign Languages to promote the construction of new liberal arts, and promote the organic integration of digital research methods and Russian discipline.
