Our school will hold the 2022 China-South Korea Cultural Exchange Program -- Online cultural Experience activity for college students
An online cultural experience event for college students under the 2022 China-SouthKorea humanity Exchange Program was held at Dalian University of Foreign Languages from Nov 16th to 18th. The event was organized by DUFL and sponsored by the Consular Office of the Republic of Korea in Dalian. Teachers and students from DULF, Future Campus of Yonsei University, Sangmyung University, Confucius Institute of Incheon University, Songdo Sinsong Primary School in Incheon and Heilongjiang of University participated in the event online.
On November 16, during the seminar titled "Welcome to DFLS! In the online experience activity, graduate students and international students from the School of Korean Language introduced the beautiful Dalian University of Foreign Languages in detail, showed the students' eyes of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, and shared their own interesting experiences in the process of learning Korean.
Under the theme "Welcome to the City! In the online experience activity, students from the School of Korean Language introduced the historical sites and scenic food of Lushun. Teachers from the Confucius Institute at Incheon University introduced the historical sites of Incheon and the development and changes of Songdo. Kim Baek Young, principal of Sinsong Elementary School in Songdo, Incheon, shared her story with the Chinese language via video link.
On November 17, in the online experience activity with the theme of "Chinese Stories", Ms. Park Sun-hee, teacher of the Korean Language Institute, gave a lecture with the theme of "Research on Chinese newly madeup Words", introducing in detail the newly madeup words popular on the Internet in China, their origin background and the Chinese social culture contained in them.
After the lecture, the students of the School of Korean Language showed the unique charm of Chinese four-character idioms and ancient poems. At the same time, they introduced the development of today's China and showed the brilliant achievements of the development of contemporary China. In the online experience activity with the theme of "Visiting the Scenic spots in China and South Korea", students from China and South Korea showed the Russia-Japan prison in Lushun, the scenery of Seoul, the characteristic scenic spots in Chengdu, and the Jingdezhen Porcelain Museum by video, which aroused people's boundless yearning for all parts of China and South Korea.
On Nov 18th, students from China and South Korea led a food tour in an online experience activity themed "Our Table". The graduate students from the Korean Language Institute introduced the special cuisines of Shanxi Province, Guangdong Province and Yanbian Autonomous Region. The students from the Confucius Institute of Incheon University in South Korea showed the special cuisines of Seoul and Busan as well as the ordinary meals of Koreans. The connection between Chinese and South Korean students adds a different flavor to the food tour.
After the food tour in the morning, in order to let the students feel the Korean customs, the Korean Cultural Center held a unique experience activities of making winter kimchi, making fans and Hanbok. With a lot of laughter , it welcomed the end of the online communication link of the China-South Korea cultural exchange program -- Online Experience activity for college students.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and South Korea, the successful holding of the China-South Korea Humanity Exchange Program -- Online experience activity for college students has once again narrowed the distance between the young people of China and South Korea, made the students of the two countries have a deeper understanding of China and South Korea, and strengthened the determination of the young people of the two countries to become ambassadors of friendly exchanges between China and South Korea and contribute to the common prosperity and progress of the two countries.
