The Arabic Speech competition of the College of Asian-African Languages, "I Dream and Sail Together with Arabic", successfully concluded

In order to make learning Arabic more interesting and improve the level of oral practice, the Arabic Speech Contest of the School of Asian and African Languages was officially held on the afternoon of 29 March at Mingtak House (2 Education) 205.





Ms. Huang Lan from the Arabic Teaching and Research Section, Ms. Jiang Xiaohan, director of the Graduate Teaching and Research Section, and Ms. Huang Xinyi, director of the Undergraduate Teaching and Research Section of the School of Asian and African Languages attended the event and acted as judges. Students of Grade 2020 and Grade 2021 from the Arabic Department of the College of Asian-African Languages and Languages participated in this competition.


The first contestants were from the senior class. From different angles, the contestants expressed the heavy burden of the young people in the new era when they work with the Arabic language.


The next ones are the juniors. Around the theme of "Arabic accompany me" the students on stage in turn presented speeches.


After the award ceremony, Ms. Huang Lan commented on the speech competition. She affirmed the wonderful performance of the contestants and praised the different forms of performance.


The aim of this Arabic Speech competition is to improve the students' speech and oral expression skills and further promote the construction and enhancement of the academic atmosphere of the School of Asian-African Languages. (Chen Rupei)
