On the morning of March 29th, Vice President Chang Junyue met with Vice President Yu Yang and his delegation from Nippon Castle West University. Officials from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, the Japanese Language Institute, the Business School and the School of Software attended the meeting.
Vice President Chang Junyue first expressed his welcome to Vice President Yu Yang and his delegation. Vice President Chang Junyue reviewed the fruitful cooperation between the two universities in personnel training, teacher exchanges, academic research and other fields since the establishment of the cooperative relationship in 2008.
Vice President Chang Junyue said that during the epidemic period, the two universities have had frequent interactions and cooperation. In particular, at the critical moment in 2020 when epidemic prevention supplies were most scarce, the friendship between the two schools, such as providing masks and other epidemic prevention supplies for each other, brought warmth, encouragement and hope to the teachers and students of the two schools, and also enhanced the friendship between the two schools in this experience of working together to overcome difficulties.
Vice President Chang Junyue pointed out that he hoped that the two universities would continue to deepen cooperation in the future, constantly explore new modes of talent training, jointly train international talents with high cross-cultural ability and literacy to adapt to the current international situation and the needs of the economic and social development of China and Japan, and jointly open a new chapter of international exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in the post-epidemic era.
Vice President Yu Yang thanked Vice President Chang Junyue for his hospitality during his busy schedule and paid tribute to the efforts and contributions made by the university to the international exchanges and cooperation between the two universities during the epidemic period. Yu Yang, Vice president of the University, said that the two universities have a good foundation of cooperation and profound friendship. Over the years, most of the outstanding graduates jointly cultivated by the two universities have been admitted to the graduate school of Tokyo University, Kyoto University, Kobe University and other well-known universities in Japan.
Yu hoped that the two universities would continue to give full play to their advantages in language education, scientific research and other aspects, expand cooperation areas, enrich exchange modes, strengthen the construction of international courses, and jointly explore new ways for the development of international cooperation in higher education.
