On May 9th, Li Ni, President of the European Language Institute, Luan Hua, secretary of the General Party Branch, and their four members went to Shandong Dongying Betong Star International Management Consulting Co.LTD., the teaching practice base of our institute, to investigate and attend the workshop of university-enterprise joint training of applied and innovative talents.
The four members of the college first visited Beton Star International Management Consulting Co. LTD. The two sides reached consensus on deepening school-enterprise cooperation, promoting the construction of practice and training bases, and cooperating on ideological and political education and micro-major construction. The meeting discussed the trend and direction of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools under the new development pattern, the experience and mode of training compound and applied language talents jointly explored by "school-enterprise cooperation", the example of integrated learning mode of foreign language education and ideological and political courses of college students in the new era, and the upgrading and development of teaching system for training international applied language talents.
During the one-day seminar, participants reached a consensus on the cultivation of innovative talents. It was unanimously agreed that they should earnestly study and implement the Party's 20th spirits, better adapt to the new development pattern, start from the perspective of application-oriented talent training, carry out exchanges and cooperation between colleges and enterprises, innovate the new mode of application-oriented talent training, improve the practical ability of talents, promote translation employment, and promote the development of education informatization.
