On the morning of June 12th, our university held the deployment meeting of 2023 "FLTRP · Guocaicup" and "Understanding Contemporary China" National College Students' Foreign Language Proficiency Competition in Conference Room 601, Chengzhi Building. The principals of the Academic Affairs Office and the graduate Office, deans of teaching units, vice deans and teachers' representatives attended the deployment meeting.
This deployment meeting invited FLTRP teacher Yuan Xunhe to do a detailed training on the competition system and competition requirements of 2023 "FLTRP · Guocai Cup" and "Understanding Contemporary China" National College Students' Foreign Language Ability Competition, focusing on the relevant requirements of provincial and national competitions, and giving guidance on how to do a good job in school competitions.
The Academic Affairs Office and the Graduate Office have made arrangements for the participation of our students and the guidance of teachers. The school will hold the 2023 Dalian University of Foreign Languages "Understanding Contemporary China" Foreign Language Proficiency Competition for college students to realize "promoting learning and teaching through competition" and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of the "three-step" teaching
Vice President Liu Fengguang pointed out at the meeting that the "Understanding Contemporary China" National College Students' Foreign Language Ability Competition aims to promote the "three Jin" work, innovate curriculum thinking and politics, deepen education reform, cultivate foreign language talents, tell Chinese stories well, and serve international communication. The school attaches great importance to the competition as an important measure to promote the "three Jin" work of our school.
She put forward three requirements for the organization of this competition: First, through organizing the competition, we can better promote the reform of "three-step" teaching and foreign language education in our school; Second, we should carefully organize and hold high quality and high level school competitions, do detailed competition organization work, implement various work arrangements in an orderly manner, and achieve the purpose of promoting learning and teaching through competition; The third is to ensure that the competition is fair and just, and select the players who can represent the highest level of our students to participate in the provincial and national competitions.
