Recently, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education issued the Notice on the Announcement of the Results of the 2023 Liaoning Excellent Graduate Tutors and Excellent Graduate Tutors Team (Liao Jiaotong (2023) No. 433). The tutor team led by Professor Zou Deyan of our university won the award of Excellent Tutor team of Liaoning Province, and Professor Chen Yanping won the award of Excellent Tutor team of Liaoning Province, which is another important achievement in the construction of the tutor team of our university. Last year, in the selection of the first Liaoning Province Outstanding Graduate Supervisors and outstanding graduate supervisor teams, the Northeast Asia Research Center graduate supervisor team led by Professor Liu Hong was awarded the first Liaoning Province Outstanding graduate Supervisor team, and Vice President Professor Liu Fengguang was awarded the first Liaoning Province Outstanding graduate Supervisor team.
In recent years, the university attaches great importance to the construction of the graduate tutor team, always adheres to the original mission of "educating people for the Party, educating talents for the country", strives to build a mentor team construction system with the goal of cultivating morality and people, and strives to build a first-class graduate tutor team in the new era with ideals and beliefs, moral sentiments, solid knowledge and benevolence. Become a guide for students to hone their character, learn knowledge, innovate their thinking and contribute to the motherland.
The team of high-level graduate tutors provides fundamental support for the connotative development, characteristic development and high-quality development of graduate education in the new era. In the past three years, 15 projects of our school have been approved as research projects of graduate education and teaching reform in Liaoning Province. 6 teaching achievements were awarded the Liaoning Graduate Education Achievement Award, including 1 grand prize, 1 first prize and 4 second prizes; 5 demonstration bases for the joint training of professional degree postgraduates in Liaoning Province were approved, and 1 excellent doctoral dissertation and 9 excellent master's dissertation were awarded. Graduate students have published 75 papers in high-level journals at home and abroad, and won more than 400 awards in high-level professional competitions at provincial and ministerial level.
