On January 6, the first "Construction of First-class Courses for Korean Majors" seminar was held at the International Cultural Exchange Center of Dalian University of Foreign Languages. The seminar was organized by the Chinese Association of Korean (Korean) Language Education and Research, and hosted by the College of Korean Language of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, the Virtual Teaching and Research Office of National Basic Korean Course Group, and the Virtual Teaching and Research Office of "Three Steps" teaching of non-common language majors in Liaoning Province. The conference focused on the theme of "Construction of first-class courses for Korean language majors", and Korean language majors from more than 50 universities at home and abroad and experts and scholars in related research fields attended the conference.
At the opening ceremony, President Liu Hong introduced the development history and school-running characteristics of the school, and fully affirmed the achievements made by the School of Korean Language in personnel training, discipline construction, teaching and research since its establishment. She pointed out that our school's Korean language major is one of the first national-level first-class undergraduate major construction points, and now has the Institute of Korean Studies, the Korean Culture Experience Center and the Korean Culture Institute, which is one of the largest and strongest Korean language (Korean) talent training bases in China.
Professor Quan Yonggen, President of the Chinese Korean (Korean) Language Education Research Association and Dean of the School of Asian and African Languages and Culture of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, pointed out that this seminar is to implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in the New Era, and fully implement the implementation Opinions of the Ministry of Education on the Construction of first-class undergraduate courses. It is a useful attempt to promote the reform of teaching concept, course structure, course content and teaching methods, promote the construction plan of first-class undergraduate courses, and improve the construction quality of first-class undergraduate courses.
During the expert presentation session, Professor Quan Yonggen, Dean of School of Asian and African Languages and Culture, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; Professor Chen Bingbing, Dean of School of Asian Studies, Beijing International Studies University; Professor Chi Shengnv, Nanguo Business School, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; and Associate Professor Li Guiyao, School of Korean Language, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, respectively introduced the state-level online and offline blended first-class courses "Basic Korean", "Elementary Korean" and "Korean Language" The construction concept, content characteristics and teaching practice significance of "Law" and "Korean Culture", and shared the application experience.
This seminar is the first meeting since the national first-class undergraduate curriculum was recognized, closely related to the Ministry of Education's first-class undergraduate curriculum construction policy, actively promote mutual learning between multiple regions and multiple schools, and build a platform for exchanges for Korean (Korean) language educators across the country, and won the praise of experts, scholars and young teachers.
