On the morning of March 5th, Vice President Liu Fengguang met with visiting Vice President Yu Yang and his delegation. Officials from the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, School of Japanese Language, School of Business, School of Software and other relevant departments attended the meeting.
Vice President Liu Fengguang first welcomed the visit of Vice President Yu Yang and his delegation, and reviewed the extensive cooperation between the two universities in personnel training, teacher exchanges, academic research and other aspects since the establishment of cooperative relations in 2008, which has achieved fruitful results. Vice President Liu Fengguang introduced the exploration and achievements of our university in the aspects of professional development, discipline construction, international exchange and cooperation in recent years.
Vice President Yu Yang thanked Vice President Liu Fengguang for her reception. In order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the University, a delegation from Chengxi University will also attend the celebration activities in September this year. Yu Yang, Vice President of the University, said that Chengxi University actively implemented the strategy of international development, especially with our school for many years to innovate cooperation mode, deepen cooperation and exchanges, and made remarkable achievements in personnel training, over the years, the students jointly trained by the two schools have more opportunities for further study and broad employment prospects, and most of them have been admitted to Waseda University, Kyoto University and other well-known institutions. Or work in important posts of Sino-Japanese diplomacy and foreign affairs. Vice President Yu Yang hoped that through this visit, the two universities will jointly plan new opportunities for development and push the cooperation between the two universities to a new height.
After the meeting, Vice President Yu Yang and his delegation held discussions with relevant departments such as the School of Japanese Language, the School of Business, the School of Software, and the School of International Education to discuss the implementation and development of student exchange programs.
