On the evening of May 24, the industry investment promotion activity of 2024 Liaoning Province High-quality Sports and Tourism Integrated Development Conference was held in Dalian Donggang Music Fountain Square. This promotion event is an important part of the 2024 Liaoning Province High-quality Cultural and Tourism Integrated Development Conference, which aims to showcase Liaoning's culture, landscape beauty, ecological excellence and hospitality, promote the accelerated development of cultural and tourism integration, and attract more friends at home and abroad to come to Liaoning for sightseeing, investment and business. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Congress, the provincial government, the relevant leaders of the provincial Political Consultative Conference and other guests from all walks of life and more than 5,000 Dalian citizens participated in the activity.
33 international students from our school were invited by the organizing committee to participate in the event. During the event, Wang Wenyong, deputy director of Dalian Culture and Tourism Bureau, presented the certificate of "China Dalian City Promotion Officer" to 33 international students in front of the International Conference Center.
In January this year, during the activities of the first Russian Food Culture Festival (Made in Russia) in Dalian , the Russian students of our school were invited to serve as food ambassadors and came to Dashang Xinmat to introduce Russian food to the citizens and netizens. During the Spring Festival, international students from Russia, Bangladesh, Zambia, Armenia and other countries of our school came to Lushun Xiaonan Village to shoot promotional videos and promote the Lushun cultural tourism.
Since the spring, Dalian East Fifth Street has been popular on the Internet. International students of our school came to the East Fifth Street to interact with the public, shoot promotional videos, and promote the charm of Dalian. Chinese students sang "Auld Lang Syne" affectionately with students from Russia, Sudan and other countries, and the recorded video was forwarded by many media such as Travel Dalian, Dalian Publishing, News Dalian and Dalian Daily. On May 19, during the 33rd Dalian Locust Appreciation Fair, Du Lan ying, a Vietnamese student of our school, gathered with visitors from home and abroad in the Labor park to promote locust tea and locust cake, and show the plot of "locust flowers" in Dalian. During the 2024 CICF Football World Cup held in Dalian, 4 Thai students from our school participated in the "Culture Day" tour, acting as interpreters and guides for Thai "fellow villagers", introducing Dalian and Chinese culture.
The mountains and the sea in Liaoning Province are set against each other. Dalian is rich in accumulation and rich in multi-cultural atmosphere. Through classroom learning and participation in cultural exchanges and promotion activities, international students of our school have a better understanding of Dalian and Liaoning, and a better understanding of contemporary China. They will use what they have seen and heard in Liaoning and Dalian and their own personal experiences to tell the world a good story of China, a good story of Liaoning and a good story of Dalian.
