On January 9, the graduation ceremony for international students of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year was held in the Library Lecture Hall, and Vice President Liu Fengguang attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Party and government leaders of Han College, international students' class teachers, teachers and all international students attended the ceremony.

Before the beginning of the ceremony, the teachers and students watched a video clip reflecting the study life of international students. The vice dean of Han College read out the list of finalized students and the list of award-winning students. The deputy secretary of the Party branch of Han College presented certificates to the representatives of the graduates and awards to the prize-winning students.

Lee Gung-sun from South Korea delivered a speech as the representative of the graduates. During her study in Dawai, she shared her experience of learning Chinese, participating in the Liaoning International Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the unforgettable experience of “Sense China” to experience the achievements of contemporary China, which not only improved her cross-cultural communication skills, but also enabled her to gin rich knowledge and precious friendships. Meanwhile, she would like to thank her teachers, classmates and friends for their unselfish help during her study period, and is full of bright expectations for the future.

On behalf of all the lecturers, teacher Zhang Wei extended her sincere blessings to the graduating international students.  Vice President Liu Fengguang expressed her warm congratulations to the 114 graduating international students from nine countries and inspired the international student present to follow the example of the outstanding international graduates, pursue excellence, and  try to become the best in their respective fields. She hoped that the international students would bring back the knowledge they have learned and their love and understanding of Chinese culture to their home countries, become important messengers to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, become a solid bridge of friendship and cooperation between their countries and China, and make positive contributions to the exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
