On December 10th, with the guidance and support of the China Education International Exchange Association and the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, the launch ceremony of the "Liaoning Province YES France Project and 2024 Dalian Foreign Studies University Sino French University Student Humanities Exchange Project" was held at our university. As the first university to host the Liaoning Province YES France Project, Dalian Foreign Studies University wrote the first stroke of the Sino French youth painting a picture of youth friendship.

Kong Feng, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Education Department of Liaoning Province, Albert Courtois, President and Philippe L é nez, President of the Laprovidens Education Group in France, Ren Shulei, Secretary General of the China France Education Exchange Association, Director of Asia Pacific Strategy and Development and Executive President of the Greater China Region at the Paris Higher School of Science, Technology and Economics Business in France, Wang Weichen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dalian Foreign Studies University, attended the launching ceremony and delivered speeches, while Vice President Liu Fengguang presided over the meeting. Teachers and students from the Paris Institute of Advanced Science, Technology, Economics and Business and Dalian University of Foreign Studies jointly witnessed the ceremony

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. The leaders of the two countries jointly proposed an initiative to promote youth exchanges between China and France and launched the "Youth Ambassador Exchange and Learning Program (YES Program)", aiming to build bridges and promote in-depth exchanges between the youth of the two countries in various fields such as culture, education, and innovation.

After the launch ceremony, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, Wang Weichen, and the Chairman of the French Lapuroidens Education Group, Philippe Lenez, respectively signed a cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the two universities. Vice President Liu Fengguang met with President Albert Courtois and his delegation, accompanied by relevant functional departments and department heads.

In the future, our school will make every effort to serve as a "bridgehead" for cultural exchanges between China and France, expand the scale of student exchanges between the two countries, continue to develop distinctive long-term and short-term exchange programs, enrich exchange and cooperation models, achieve common development through mutually beneficial cooperation, promote cultural exchange and mutual learning of civilizations, and contribute greatly to further promoting people to people exchanges between China and France.
