On the afternoon of June 23, Liu Weiling, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Daily, and her delegation visited our university for research and guidance, holding a forum on deepening cooperation with universities in the field of international communication. Qian Yingwei, Secretary of the University Party Committee, Cong Mingcai, President of the University, and Su Jian, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, met the guests.

At the forum, Secretary Qian Yingwei stated that Lushunkou District, where the university is located, boasts abundant resources for patriotic education. The university fully leverages this geographical advantage to foster students’ patriotism throughout the whole talent cultivation process, guiding them to remember history and shoulder their missions courageously.

Both sides agreed to take this research visit as an opportunity to establish a joint working mechanism as soon as possible, refine detailed cooperation plans, and push for tangible results from bilateral cooperation in international communication at an early date.
